Exclamation TEIN s-tech springs, and kyb gr2's? good combo?!

ok heres the setup now...
89 crx hf
-stock shocks with apex springs
-lowered about 2 inches all the way around
-camber kit up front
-steels with stock tires (if that helps any)

i am planning on getting a nice suspension setup for christmas...i was looking at this..http://www.inlinefour.com/neusgr2com.html

but then i saw on the other items, that there were some TEIN s-tech springs and some kyb gr2 gas shocks for pretty cheap and not that much more than the link above..!

so my question is...for the suspension techs, or the gurus(sp), what would you purchase..i have never bought any performance oriented suspension items before, so this is a first..

i was also talking to chris (03slozuki) and he was telling me aobut Progress sport springs with kyb gr2's as well...all of these are around the same price...

so im really leaning towards the tein s-tech springs with the kyb gr2s for the amount of money...

but..any help would be appreciated...

thank you very much

GR2s suck ass. Sorry. I blew my fronts on my DA in a matter of months on S-Techs. And they rake the car WAY too much. My car didn't even look lowered in the back and it looked slammed in the front. Chris had the same problem with GR2s on his DA.

For shocks, go Yellows or save your money until you can get Yellows.

S-Techs and Yellows would be a good combo. Or just about any quality springs (Eibach, H&R, etc). Just make sure you get Yellows.

I had my GR2's on my SLAMMED civic for more than a year, and I took them off and checked them right before I sold it... they were still in great condition. I know other people who also have had good experiences with GR2's. I can appreciate the koni yellow advice, but AGX's are also an affordable alternative, epecially since you can snag a pair around 300 on ebay.

I've heard AGXs are good, but not Yellow good, and after my GR2 experience I'll never buy KYBs again.

GR2s must be a hit or miss item, honestly. I loved mine and had no problesm on my slammed Accord years ago, but some people I hear just had horrible experiences with them. Must be bad quality control on KYB's part or something...

I loved my Tein S-Tech springs, and they were riding on OEM struts. It was lower than stock, but rode like stock, and thats why I loved them.

IMO I needed a stiffer spring, but now that I sold the car, I miss those springs.
