tb swap now coolant temp code?
So I have a jdm b20 swap in my crv (awd manual) and I swapped out the TB to a b16a2 one, to go bigger and to get rid of the fitv. Now I'm getting a coolant temp sensor code all of a sudden. When I start the car, the car idles down real low, and doesnt come to normal temp (900) until its warmed up. Before it's warm it's at like 4-500 but idleing. No bouncy idle.
From day 1 owning the car the iac hasnt seemed to work. Put in a brand new one, and nothing. Unplug it, nothing happens, and no code. Try to turn the ac on at idle and it cuts out, becasue there isnt enough idle once it drops to sustain it from day one.
When the new tb went in, there was no outlet for the hose to the charcoal canister, so i rmoved it. I did this on my old civic without an issue, but now when I throw the coolant code, this one has started to come up as well. Shouls I put it back in and use the outlet on the rear right of the IM that seems to never be used?
Any help would be awsome. I am working on trying to get a new iac now, or at least swap one out to see if there is a change.

A coolant temp sensor is a simple device. It senses temperature, so you can't really do anything to cause a sensor fault except have an out-of-range fault because the sensor is broken or not connected. The idle symptoms can be caused by a coolant temp sensor problem, but I can't possibly see how the throttle body could affect the coolant temp sensor at all. Maybe you have a intermittant harness problem that is affecting the IACV and the coolant temp sensor, and you aggravated the problem while moving the harness during the throttle body install?
Oh, some of the idle problem could be caused by the throttle body also. If you haven't had the car tuned, your intake flow velocity will be lower at idle (because of the larger throttle), and without a functional IACV you don't really have much to compensate for that.
Do the easy things first, like checking continuity between the IACV connector and the ECU, and do the same with the coolant temp sensor. You should also check for proper power and ground at the sensor connector.. You don't want to start blindly replacing parts only to find that you actually have a harness or ECU issue...

sorry we all cant have 240'S big man on the block!
I got the vehicle for my son, and sold my car.
and no, actually inline pro did both engine swaps into my awd manual crv first. Is there any particular reason your following all my posts?

Just put the B20 throttle body back on, the gain is very minimal compared to the problems that you are and will continue to have. And LOL at fastest in the country, the motor and kit Inline had in there was fast, but that is no where close to the same setup now!
besides fabrik covered the issue already. Confirermed for me the route i was already going to take, back when this thread was made.
