I noticed that my lights were on earlier, and I went to turn them off but they were already off. My headlights were off but my tailights will not turn off unless I disconnect the battery. I have no idea whats wrong with it please help me out if you have any clue why its doing this.

 

Check for stuck relay maybe.

 

the switch when you hit the brake may be stuck

 

Check brake switch..

 

little plastic pad/stopper in the brake pedal......it's gone.

+1. I just replaced with a short panhead screw with a locknut on the other side.

 

yeah I realized that it was the brake lights that were actually stuck and I had the same problem with my hatch only the brakes would'nt work. I guess its the other way around and Im pretty sure now that it is the brake switch. Thanks for the help everyone, I appreciate it
