Tach/Speedo don't work
I swapped a 00' d16y8 into my 98 HX (used to be D16y5)....anywyas, swapped it in, using an 00' EX wiring harness, and the 00 P2P ECU. the speed sensor is plugged into my tranny...yet my tach and speedo don't work...but my gas and temp gauges do...
Why wont they work? Help please. im exhausted so if that made no sense just tell me.

you getting no CEL's. Check for continuity on the back of the speedo harness what inputs speed signal and rpm. And check on the engine harness after the vss. If there is none bw the ecu and engine check ur vss and make sure its working (another contin check) and if its present there then the wiring is Fucked but its an easy fix. just a lot of wire tracing.
EDIT: you know just trace the VSS wiring from the EX harness and make sure that it pins in the same location as the dx harness on the main engine harness
