Default T-28 turbo question

I have a t-28 turbo which the internals have been replaced in. I knew that when I got it.

The intake turbine instead of having say 6 blades on the turbine it has maybe 10 little blades and two for each blade where stock would have one.

I can see where someone would think this is confusing. Sorry if you can't understand my context.

The question I have is what is the pro and cons to this and how does this work?

depends on what applications. Are you gonna put this on your DSM? Either way, for anybody to actually tell PROS/CONS will be to see the flow specs of the turbo.

Yeah, sounds like whoever rebuilt it put a more modern wheel design in it.

thermal, I think he's talking about the compressor side not the turbine.

I was told it was based off a forced performance "big t-28" turbo.

t-28 really is a generic term.

you need to find the actual part number, or some other kind of identifying marks.
