system wiring help
I wired my sytem correctly, and everything, my amp( Coustic 241se) is gettin power, but I hear nothing from the sub ( Bazooka 12in triangular) is there anytyhing wrong? Im almost positve my wiring is fine. and all the fuses are to. I need helppp !!!
Okay, you've got a set of RCAs coming out from the SUB out on the back of your HU, along with a wire from the REMOTE off the back of your HU? Then you ran the RCAs to the IN on the amp? Also, the REMOTE is screwed down on the post? You wired the sub in correctly, right? + and - speaker terminals and didn't bridge them?

I have RCA's coming from the HU to the input on the amp, and the back of my head unit didnt have a thing to put the remote wire, so I hooked that up to the power antenna. the other end of the remote is screwed down to the amps post, and the speaker terminals are in there right, but bridge? im not sure what that means, Im not a big audio person.
everything seems hooked up fine and you did the right thing in hooking up the remote blue wire to teh power antenna sub
could be a blown sub
then again you're running POS equipment so maybe its doing you a favor

It was working for a moment, then I put the lil jon on, and my sub went crazy and started making a wierd bumbumbumbumbum bum noise even when the song was on pause, then I turned it off, and it doesnt work anymore, the amp is still getting power though
umm usually power antena wire usually only on when the radio is on...been my expereince with that......check your connections going to the battery and your ground make sure your fuse at the battery isn't blown
