sway bars for 92 Civic not equiped with saybars???
I have a 92 Civic Cx. This model didnt come with sway bars. Anybody know what I need to get to be able to install swaybars. I have heard different things from different people. some say I need rear new control arms others say I need front control arms since my stock ones dont have holes to install the bars. Please any info is helpful.
Thanks!!!

Hey, just go to a shop, buy the sway bar or bars, and ask him if it'll bolt right on, and tell the guy what you have heard. If you buy a sway bar for your car, it should just fit right on.

Thats not a bad idea, Im sure they would know but I could save 50 to 100 bucks if I buy the bars on the internet (ebay)
plus I know that civics that werent equiped with swaybars, if you get swaybars they wont just bolt right up.

thats what I was thinking but since I need to get a new part like a rear control arm. I rather get an aftermarket one that is made of alluminum and stronger. I just dont know what I need to get.

Leo.. You should have a shop book, Chiltens, or Haynes book. And that should help with the pics and stuff. I think you maynot need the rear arms. On my car you mount the bar to the lower shock mount bolt. You may have to get the front arms off a DX. Again I would just get the stock bar off a DX as well. We are going to pull the ST bar off Pops CRX and replace it with a the stock Si bar. Save the money and buy tires..
This is just my oppinion.

You need the front lower arms and rear lower arms from a 92-95 Civic Si/Ex or a 94+ Integra. It would be a bad idea to get all of the mounting harware and stock sway bars as well. It makes things much easier, trust me.

honda-tech was offering a special on the SRR rear sway bar kit and RLCA's, not sure if that deal is still going on.
