hey guys, i'm in need of some help. i just finished my minime in my 96 civic ex. i took it easy for 500 miles and just about an hour ago i got on it on I-64 and around about 4000 rpm my car seems to stutter, the speedometer and stock tach are going crazy while this is going on. if i shift before 4000 rpm everything is all good, it runs just like it should. also whats up with my car when i take off it has poor throttel response, i just put new spark plugs and wires in my motor so whats the deal guys, HELP ME

 

is your timing accurate? also try and clean your fuel injectors.

 

Check:
Timing, fuel filter, fuel pump voltage...

 

do you have any check engine lights on or anything?

my car was stuttering for a while, but it was a result of the boost from the turbo feeding into the map sensor, which isnt made to read boost, only vacuum.

why would you do a minime in an EX? hmm.. lets take a y8 head off and put another one on? thats not a minime, its an EX still!

 

i had no motor in my car to start with , so i did a god damn minime!!!!! and now its fucking up!!!!!

 

Check everything over again it sux but it needs to be done.....Swaps are monsters the first time around...good luck....Check wirring that seems to be the problem if your tach and speedo are goin nuts......
