Default std is not the same as a dx.
Im new at this and so many people try to sell me a engine harrness for my std for the mpfi swap but never get it right. The si harrness will not work. I wish i knew someone who knew there shit.

I believe the standard is a 4 speed. dx was a 5 speed and other then that. I have no idea what the differences are. I thought they all had the same engine. hope you find something that works for you.

I never even used a different harness doing my mpfi swap. I just added some wires, redid the distributor and it was perfectly fine.
