Default sr20det valve job

Anyone ever done this with he head attached? Mine has been leaking for some time now and just started to smoke really bad this week, then finally last night when I was leaving work it finally went. Running like a WRX now. This is the same thing that happened to my KA-T. Im debating weather I want to do the job myself or send it to a shop..
