i have an s14 sr20-det and i am trying to find an s14 sr20-det maf sensor but i cant find one anywhere. does anyone know of another maf i can use instead of the s14 one which wont require a afc to run properly? i have an s13 sr20-det maf right now and my car runs horribly. any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

n62 300zx maf. it is an upgrade and well worth it.

easy to find and cheap to buy.

 

+1. your going to get it eventually when you go bigger powr. It requires a re-wire and setting adjustments on your SAFC.

 

He doesnt have an SAFC, the only MAFS that gives the same voltage as an S14 SR MAFS is an S15 SR MAFS.

 

you can still run the n62 without being tuned.

eventually it will need to be but it will run.


and safcs are dirt cheap

why would he go out of his way to get an s15 maf when he could just as easily get the s14 or more easily get the n62

 

Well i was told that the 300zx maf requires tuning. tuning is expensive and i dont for see me having the money for it anytime soon because i have other priorities. i dont want to risk hurting my engine by running a maf that is not designed for it. I also found the maf that i needed and at an excellent price too. thanks for all the input.

It doesnt need air/fuel tuning, but it still will not run the car properly without the SAFC.
