probably going to with some spoon springs. i have searched everywhere on the internet for people's opinions....NOTHING. i guess not many people will pay 300 bucks for springs, but they have absolutely awsome spring rates and a conservative drop with a progressive design. I was wondering if anyone happened to ride on these or know of somebody who had them. any feedback would rock...thanks.

 

haven't ridden on 'em but personally. i would pay 300 for 'em.

spoon is usually OE honda parts with flair. Some of their stuff is real quality though, ie: brake calipers. anyways back on topic...heard anything?

 

My advice would be to post on a different board about this, mostly because your going to have people with no clue i.e mark w. and most other people on here talking about they're the best and shit when they really dont know..

now, im sure they are good springs, 300 seems steep to me but I have never heard of anyone with them so I cant really say.

ive been researching my ass off. i found an older thread on honda tech saying they have a really small drop, but have wonderful handling abilities.

i found this:

progresive springs
front: 357.5lb/in
rear: 302.5il/in
drop: .88in front and rear

seems abit low, i read another place the front was like a 600lb/in rate. ahhh! Im just about to say fuck it and get some Tein S-techs...

but if yer set on the spoons then i'd say go for it, if nothing else you could sell them

no matter on how many reviews you get that say there good.

they still might not be what your looking for.

and who knows. someone with teins may ride on your spoon sports springs and want some.

 

ive been doing even more researching and those are pretty aggressive spring rates...almost +/-50% more then stock ITR spring rates. the spoon springs have a 20mm drop which equates to a .86 inch drop. pretty conservative....which is great, because i will get the race style handling without having to dump the car, and then getting a camber kit. i think the spoon springs are my choice

(i hope they come with two black 'spoon' stickers to put under my side views...then itd really be set off )
