I was in a friends car drivin along, all of a sudden i look down at the gauge (in the tray below the stereo, it spoolin to 28 psi.

we shut it off, and had the car towed to the house. any idea's?

So you immediately shut off the car when you noticed the gauge reading 28psi? or did you let off and deccelerate? if so, did you notice any smoking or funny noises? What happens when you try to start the car? Fill us in on more details.

 

let off, and decelerated, and then it was spewing out black smoke once we let it idle, sorry about the lack of info, talkin to friend about it.

 

It's fried. Proceed to the nearest cliff and push the car off the edge, immediately.
