ive got a SPEC stage 3....i fried it at the track last month, but it was a good clutch...im sticking with SPEC...theyre hooking me up by resurfacing my fucked up pressure plate and re padding the friction material on my clutch disk...which started as a brown color and ended up a nice, bright silver.

 

specs have recently become very popular in the mr2 comunity. theres one on the board thats having one installed as we speak.

 

I know recently there have been alot of unhappy stang owners that have used Spec. I know Not Stock has had 2 or 3 put in his Cobra(think its the stage 2). I plan on going KC or Mcleod.

 

hmn...does anyone who drives a honda that uses this clutch??..itz seems like a lot of nissan and domestic cars have them which is kool..i gues it wouldnt matter what kinda car u drive...only one negative feedback so far..well thanks for all the comments i appreciate it..pz

 

not sure about seeing one on a honda , but it did a hell of a job in my buddys 340 wheel mr2

 

I've personally never heard of "SPEC" but I drive a spiffy 93 prelude, and i swear by ACT only.

 

which act clutch do u have??...pressure plate and disc?..are u boosted?..thankz

 

I have Xtreme Pressure Plate, Performance Organic Friction Disk. Grabs like WHOA but is very streetable. Can hold up to 368 lb/ft I believe. No im not boosted, I dont have many mods at all yet, but i got a good deal and its for the future.
