Default Re: spark plug problem question

Oil Seals between the valve cover and cyl head are bad. Oil in the plug valley will short out the spark going to the plug and cause a missfire or no-start condition. Blue smoke is oil related, not likely caused by the oil in the valley but not impossible. Replace the gasket/O-rings, clean out the valleys, clean out the plug ends and the spark plugs themselves and it should start and run without this happening again for a while. Also check your PCV system to make sure it isn't blocked, excessive blowby inside the engine can cause oil to be pushed past the rings and also premature failure of the gaskets and seals in the engine. Thus forcing oil past the valley O-rings into the plug valleys. Hope this helps..
