Default short ram on a del sol...help!

Just looking everything over, it looks very simple. It is all straightforward, except for the metal bracket thing included with it. I asume it attaches to the end with the cone for support of that end, but I cannot figure out where it attaches to! Anyone that can help, or show me a decent picture of a short ram intake in a del sol, or point me somewhere for some instructions, I'd appreciate it! I can't find anything useful on the net.

its not 100% nessecary to use it, but it braces it so that the filter isnt resting on something nasty. when i initially installed my short ram on my old civic, i put it on, but it broke off about 2 weeks later, and i didnt notice, but it ran all just the same.

I just didn't know where the curved part was supposed to connect, and whether it was somewhere specific. If it is just to hold it up off the nastiness underneath, I guess it can go about anywhere. Thanks, appreciate the help.

On my Integra, I just rested the bracket on the cone end of the pipe, and then slid the cone over it. Worked like a charm.
