Default Shocks and Springs

Okay, so I'm sick of my coilovers. Basically, I picked my Tein SS's because I wanted to get into autocross, but my engine took too long to build. So now, here I am in Europe, my wife is unhappy with the ride, and so now I need to go to a shock and spring, but still with a little drivability for those days when I need to unwind.

So here is my request-
I want an adjustable shock - tokico luminas, kyb, whatever....

and a spring that will only drop about .75 inches or so, not quite an inch.

I was think probably a set of Eibach springs, or maybe a set of the Tein sportlines.

Do you guys have any recommendations or stories?

I might go with the Tein Luxury Springs. Mild handling improvement, better all around ride, 1.2 inch drop.

Anybody got these?

I'm just saying this to cover all the bases, but have you tried adjusting the coilovers? I have SS' on my car and it's like night and day between the extreme settings.

oh yes. Several different ones. But its just the fact that it gives an automatic 1.5 inch drop, and that is just too stiff for her. I have the settings on maxium softness, and it feels like riding on a damn cloud to me, but too much for her.
