i remember scaring the hell outta myself with DR's on @15psi in the car in the condition i sold it to you in. no ported head no cams. I think i always short shifted it.
i also think i bent your rods @ mir @10psi.
I also remember 357rwhp in my SR in the 2300lb drag car. It was ok on the track for 11.40's but on the street she was unfuckingbelievably fast. 600+hp supras could only hang when i got into 5th. (i'm sure i told you about florida). She didnt spin at all but just the amount of tunnel vision was unreal on the street.

as long as you accept and note you are uneducated to the S chassis people will help you. This is one of the more helpful threads started by a new 240 person.
i researched for close to 3 months with the intent to buy an 89-93 chassis. Then i found the love of my life in the 96 chassis. I spent 6 months driving the car stock. I mean everyone here knows what i've done with 240s but my first day i had the car......i cleaned the stock paper air filter like you would a K&N. probably the most paranoid i've EVER been for an hour till i found out how stupid i was.
so research around. Here are some of the sites i used to help me build 240s.

a couple in there may-be incorrect just google them and you'll find the right ones
I made with is spiting distance of 300 hp with a stock s15-sr, front mount and boost controler. and with zeal coilovers, its damn tricky to keep stright under full throttle
the bandwagon welcomes you. j/k
I feel bad for you guys shopping for SR swaps these days. Engines and clips are silly expensive now. The huge appeal years ago was the relative low cost of an SR swap/build up. I suggest looking in the 'for sale' sections of various forums to find used parts that don't "wear out" like an exhaust and intercooler.
Why does everyone pull out 350hp out of the air? It seems to be the default for newbs (no offense).
Get a '95 w/ 5-lug and a redtop with an s15 turbo or just the whole s15 engine (if you can find a reasonable deal). Then, thow on a Boost controller, cams, exhaust, intercooler, and intake manifold. With a good tune, you'll be over 300whp and plenty quick for the street. That's what I'd do if I started all over. Then get some silly wheels and coilovers.
