rx7 help
ok im not going to lie..im a dumbass when it comes to turboed cars and all the electonic gizmos that come along with it.
i need some help..
i just acquired a 93 rx7...it has an apexi powerfc in it...
i have no earthly idea on what this does or how to use it
i thought it may have been a few hundred dollar piece of electronics but its 1100 on the apexi site...so it better do something damnit!!!!!!!!!!!!
but anyway...the cars not for sale...not right now anyway..
anybody know how to operate this unit or can you suggest someone i can take this car too in order to tune it correctly..
ALSO I DONT KNOW ANYTHING about whats done to it or anything...neither did the person i got the car from...
any help is appreciated

I have only messed around with the power fc but if i recall you have to use datalogit to tune it (the hand thing is a pain in the ass). Ill look it up in a little bit

You are able to tune without the datalogit. You just have to access the fuel map on the Commander, you are also able to adjust idle, etc.

Okay- 1st thing first...You should not play with it at all. Period. If the car's running well there is no reason for you to mess with the tune. My last car was also a 93 rx7 running the same EMS so I can tell you that if you have no tuning experience you should leave it up to the pros...with a dyno.

Okay- 1st thing first...You should not play with it at all. Period. If the car's running well there is no reason for you to mess with the tune.
