Default Replacing Head Gaskets

When you replace a head gasket will clean oil getting onto it cause it not to seal or seal poorly?

Honestly at this point i have no desire to disassemble the damned thing simply because i saw some oil seeping from the seal after torqueing it down.

Really whats better just seeing what happens with it?

Or taking if apart and possibly ruining the deck job and the gasket set

im sure the clean oil that accidentally got on it will eventually dissapate if the head gasket is on properly and wont cause a major problem, now if it keeps on doing it, that is another story...............
