Im looking for some insight from some brake guys here. I need to replace a left rear caliper for my vehicle. Nissan wants 200+ bucks for a new one. Im not trying to shell that much out so I started looking elsewhere at places such as advance auto / pep boys and online.

My question is what is the quality of the brands like ARC, A1 cardone? etc, and what is the preferred brand? Also if anyone knows of a good place to find what I'm looking for please feel free to post.

oh I should also mention, I have had to replace this caliper once before, and did so with a remanufactured one I think from some online website. Well I had problems with it from the start and it eventually siezed up on me. I can not move the piston in or out at at all.

 

try olympus auto parts, they sell some good quality reman stuff, been using there reman's on customer cars for years and never had a problem
