iono it didnt work for me, i got some kleen-strip aircraft remover stuff from walmart for like 4 bucks and i sprayed it on and let it sit and it wiped right off no problems at all. im doing a second coat right now to get the detailed spots. if you ever need paint gone use this stuff, it only took like 20 minutes and it works great and its cheap.

Cool.. I didn't think about that stuff. I think oil-based furniture piant when I think of paint stripper..

Buy some Aircraft paint strip or Auto strip at wal mart, spray it on and rub it with a tooth brush. If the paint does not come off easily with that, use a scraping tool like a piece of wood or putty knife but be careful not to bear down too hard... This stuff takes off powder coat like it is brushing off dust. Latex paint is a little more difficult to get off. I had to scrape mine off with the putty knife.

i used that and it got most of it off. its starting to take off the stock honda rim color though

use "gasket remover" you spray it on when it starts to ripple in 2 seconds wipe it off and wash with soap and water and they should be ok.. if you haven`t already ruined them with that aircraft cleaner..

i only messed up like two half-dime sized spots on one wheel ...i guess im just going to spray them now

You may have to hit the wheels with some metal polish after the stripper, who knows what kind of oxidation that stuff causes..

i thought u wanted to take the paint completely off. If you want to keep the stock honda paint then u should find another way because that aircraft stripper will take some paint off... Guess its too late tho.
