Recommendations on twin air horns for diesel truck?
Have a 2005 Ford F350 turbo diesel, looking to get some clearance lights and twin air horns -- looking for product recommendations, maybe some assistance installing them as well.
Want the clearance lights to be larger than LEDs and smaller than "normal" ones that to me look like five huge orange Mayberry police lights. Clean and classy is the goal. Will wire them into the fog light wiring so they come on when the fog lights come on, instead of a separate switch.
For the twin air horns I want the punk with the bass thumping in the passing lane to shit himself without sounding like a freight train or tugboat. 18-wheeler class. Haven't decided if they should be mounted hidden or on top of the cab (not likely). Definitely want a little pull chain and can route it along the A pillar.
Post up some products that you'd recommend.

Yeah, I run around I-495 a lot and get pissed off when hauling loaded construction trailers and people cut me off or try to translate road signs with their brakes on in the left lane.

Re: Recommendations on twin air horns for diesel truck?
all the crap you see in JC Whitney and other places are pussy horns.
get a 12v compressor and a 3-8 gallon tank, run 3/8" line, and mount some good horns. get the horns from fleetpride or napa, 16" or longer trumpet.
as for the markers, just get the OE ones for a SD dually, they look and fit the best. the LED ones from Grote still look retarded, there are a few from lightmasters that look decent, but i like the OE ones on them trucks. plus the wiring is usually already run, you just tap into it off the a pillar harness. usually comes in a kit from ford.

Here's the rig I'm looking at buying:

I already own a 150# compressor and 5 gallon air tank. I won't be installing them for another month. If you haven't made your purchase by then I'll post a review of my experience. But from what I've read if you want horns loud enough to blow Jesus off the cross expect to spend about $400 on the package. (then add an air hose and and a small tool kit).
