Default quick question

The bolt that holds on the exhuast manifold (on the head) broke...how hard is it to replace the stud?

its only 1 bolt. Could this be the reason it sounds like my car has a turbo on it? (massive amount of rushing air) And its not a vaccum leak either.

That's very likely why you have a leak.

And they're not hard to replace.

One bolt shouldnt make your car sound any different. But you need a stud puller. I know Francisco has one and has many replacement studs. Hit him up.

like all you can hear is the loudest amount of rushing air. Plus even if thats not the probelm, prolly a better idea replace it anyway.

if the stud is broken off clean then the stud will be a pain to get out. a simple stud puller won't help you at all unless you have a descent amount of stud sticking out. The most effective way to get it out is going to be attempting to drill the center of the stud out and try to get an easyout to grab it. If your lucky you wont have to drill it completely out and retap the hole to replace the stud. And yeah the one broken bolt can cause a pretty good exhaust leak over time.

would that cause a lack of power to? becuase it feels really sluggish. its prolly a combo of that and the blown valve cover gasket letting oil get to the spark plugs.

yeah an exhaust leak can cause a lack of power but the real culprit there is probably the leaky valve cover gasket. if its leaking into the spark plug tunnels then its crossarching and isn't giving the proper spark to the plug from the wire or coil.
