Default Question on pistons?

Ok i have a 95 Gsr Motor and just trying to make it 9:1 Compression so i can raise my boost up and make it a little safer....my problem with shopping for them is i dont know if other pistons like b16 low compression pistons will work on my gsr...my gsr is stock bore but i do not know what measurement that is so if anyone oculd tell me what to look for and if anyone has any pistons and rods im very interested thanks

Okay, I am by no means the smartest guy in the world when it comes to cars, but I REALLY don't think you can use pistons from a different displacement engine, and by REALLY don't think, I mean you can't.

In all honesty. Go 81.5mm.

Call a reptuable company up. Tell them you have a 1995 Gs-R that has been bored .20 over and you want a piston this is a 9:1 piston.

You'll get it.

As for companies. Search. I'm using Arias.

agreed. the b16-->b18 displacement difference comes from the crank and head, not the bore. they are all 81mm.
but that will affect your compression. call me up and we can talk about this. or contact me on AIM

What are you just going to get new pistons and slap them in your motor?
