Default Question Lowering celica

I am putting coil overs on my girlfriends celica and was wondering if i need to get a camber kit as well? Also wondering if the car was going to bounce a lot even if i replace the shocks?

Are you a friend of CrazyRussian? ha.

depending on how low you lower the car, a camber kit is suggested. less than 2 inches, you should be fine. more than 2, I'd suggest a camber kit. it's not necessary though, you can survive without one, but you'll be replacing your tires more often. depending on the spring rate and type of shocks you get will determine how much you "bounce". I don't bounce with my suspension, I hit a bump and I can feel it, but I don't go up and down for 2 miles after I hit the bump like people with cut springs.

Then again a camber kit is relatively inexpensive if anytime down the road she wishes to drop it past 2 inches, and the labor would be easier to put one on during the installation of the coilovers.

I find that most people aren't happy with a 1.5 - 2.0 drop anyway.

well surprisingly, after a 2inch drop, my rear camber was still in.
but my front was -.02 off. i was gona keep it like that but remembered how much the tires were gonna cost me down the line.
i have a camber kit for 90-99 celicas. two sets.

opps ... and 99-04

im guessing your car was made somewhere around october-november of 1999. The 7th gen celicas would have the same two camber bolts.
