question for GSR gurus

got a question about gsr rods, i am going to build a high compression all motor gsr with b16 head...should i replace the stock rods with like some egale H beams or dose it really make a difference on account of me not running boost

the best thing for the money would be to just get ARP rod bolts if you are planning on revving it only to like 9k or so. If you plan on really getting up there and going beyond 9k then you would want to upgrade the rods because the stockers probably aren't going to be able to handle that kind of a load.

a heavier oil might be a good idea too...

Re: question for GSR gurus

i actually believe it will because i always hear about people putting gsr cranks in their ls blocks to help out their R/S.

Yes, the b20 crank will fit into the b18c block with slight modification to the oil squirters.
