Y8 INTAKE MANIFOLD ON A D16Y7. IM MISSING SOMETHING!!!! PLEASE HELP!
Name: Hunter
Loc: Richmond
Setup: 96' Civic CX Hatch w/ stock y7
Ok ya'll, I am putting on a y8 intake manifold onto my y7 motor. that is all im going to change except I will put a stock Z6 exhaust manifold on in the future.
[1] I see Im going to have to lengthen all the plug wires forte y8 to reach. What is the black denso piece connected to a L bracket bolted on the left side of the intake manifold, It has a vaccum line ( black one like the size one from intake manifold to brake booster)comming from the charcoal cannistor to theback side of this box, then on the front its another line connecting to the bottom off the intake manifold somewere. What is this and do i need to with the y8 Intake manifold swap.
[2] For the idle air control valve the y7 plug is green and very large compared to the y8. The y8 looks like all the other 0bd0/1/2 d series/b series. And it is a 3-Wire plug. How do I convert this to 2 wires an splice in a plug to connect tothe y8 IACV.
[3] Can I use any 0bd1 plug from a d series or b series or like from a Z6? Or does it have to be a 0bd2?
If anyone has done this before please tell me what to do. I've always owned EF's so im new to EK's/0bd2 models.
Also, If theres anything I missed to ask please let me know.
Thank you all so much for the time.

Hunter...Kellen, I aligned ur car and met u a week or so ago. I'm pretty sure u cant convert. prob have to use the throttle body with IACV underneath (3 wire) from an automatic Y8 manifold.
