problem with crx sunroof motor
well sunroof will go down but wont go back. i was able to trouble shoot it to the motor. i took it apart and im getting about 12.5 and -12.5 across the brushes when i hit the sunroof switch. there was a large build up of brush dust that i cleared up and i thought was the problem. i put it back together and still no go in the foward direction. the windings looked fine no sign of burns or melted insulation. does anyone know what could be wrong with this motor.

Re: problem with crx sunroof motor
had the same problem with my crx it was the switch for me i heard they go bad on those alot. but don't take my word for it if you think it is the motor then replace it. you said that you get power readings at the motor, from that it sounds like it is the motor.
