hey i was wonderin if they ever made tiptronic preludes and if so what year..... also i was wondering what year they stopped making preludes....... thanx

 

yes they did make tiptronics for preludes. 1997-2000,01 ( not sure which year) all the 5th gens were vtec. the 4th gens came with an automatic but only in the 2.0 liter motor. it was not tiptronic though.

4th Generations 1992-1996
Engine choices
2.2 Non Vtec - came with auto or manual 130 hp
2.3 non Vtec - came with auto or manual 160 hp
2.2 Vtec - manual only 190 hp

5th Generation 1997-2001
Engine choices
2.2 Vtec (base) - tiptronic or manual
2.2 Vtec SH - Manual only i think

Fuckn Honda pulled the plug on the Prelude line in 2001 being the last model year. The 2.0 liter engines were only available in 3rd generation preludes 1988-1991
