Default Poor gas mileage in my 93 Civic....

Is there anything that tends to cause poor gas mileage for this car? Its a 93 automatic 4 door Civic DX. Car has 170k miles and runs pretty good, but the mileage is slowly getting worse and worse. I would say that I get around 23 miles city/29hwy now. Last year I was getting 26city/32hwy.

I also need to change the driver side cv shaft, rear wheel bearings, and the front driver side weatherstripping in the door. Any idea on the best place to find these items online? (if its cheaper than going to a local auto parts store).

Thanks
Lloyd

All done

I picked up one O2 sensor and the cv joint today. Does this thing have one or two O2 sensors? If two, which should I replace first?

Thanks

yeah, 1 o2 sensor. might want to make sure your ign. timing is set correctly as well. if you need help installing the axle or bearings or anything let me know. i can throw 'em in for a reasonable price.

How would I go about checking the ignition timing? Thanks for the offer on the axle and bearings, but I can manage I actually need to get the passenger side axle as well, because I am still getting some clicking, even with the new driver side axle.
