na i know the ecu isnt bad cause it starts and runs fine. but thanks for the offer. i drive it down the road fine everyday. and i dont think the tps is bad cause it doesnt idle up and down like normally when a tps goes bad.

code 7 is throttle angle sensor (tps)
code 15 is ignition output signal (igniter unit)

It would have a steady red light if the ecu was bad in most cases....

0 Engine Control Module (ECM)
1 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S)
3 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP Sensor)
4 Crankshaft Position (CKP Sensor)
6 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT Sensor)
7 Throttle Position (TP Sensor)
8 Top Dead Center Position (TDC Sensor)
9 No. 1 Cylinder Position (CYP Sensor)
10 Intake Air Temperature (IAT Sensor)
13 Barometric Pressure (BARO Sensor)
14 Idle Air Control (IAC Valve)
15 Ignition Output Signal
16 Fuel Injector
17 Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS)
20 Electrical Load Detector (ELD)
21 Variable Valve Timing & Valve Lift Electronic Control Solenoid Valve (VTEC Solenoid Valve)
22 Variable Valve Timing & Valve Lift Electronic Control Pressure Switch (VTEC Pressure Switch)
23 Knock Sensor (KS)
30 A/T FI Signal A
31 A/T FI Signal B
41 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Heater
43 Fuel Supply System

To check code 15 I would say:

-Turn the vehicle off, remove hazard fuse in main box to reset the ecu or you could unplug the ecu. Start it again and see if the code comes back, if it doesnt the problem could be intermittent.

-If it stays on disconnect the two wire plug at the dizzy, test the yellow and black wire (ive had one actually have a break in the wire and cause this same problem)

-The ecu could POSSIBLY be bad, there have been known faults for this exact problem.

-If the problem is still present with a known good ecu, replace the ignitor unit.

Good luck and kinda do the same thing with the TPS, make sure all of your connections and pen tensions are good and that you have voltage going in the right places and right amount, if not replace it! I have a TPS sensor if you need one and are close to VA beach, I could give it to you.
