Default Piston to Block Height

hey everyone i am building an ls/vtec motor with 12-1 comp pistons and a ls crank. i just installed the rods,bearings,pistons,rings,etc. i just checked my piston to block height with a depth guage and it is in between .018-.020 in all 4 cylinders and i need to know if that is the right height? i've looked on h-t but i cant come up with anything.. any help is appreciated!
