Default Pioneer Headunit Scion XA

My friend and I are throwing the unit in his car. There is a light green wire that needs to be connected to the parking break sensor switch, but he wants it to be able to play with in transit (for the passengers!), there are usually a bunch of people in his car. Any suggestions?

I said tape the switch down and watch that brake light always be on.

Not trying to break any laws.
HELP!

I thought I had heard you could just ground that wire and it would think the brake light is always on. I was reading about it awhile ago though, so I could be way off.

We did ground to the battery to see it were true, and it worked, but then we grounded it in the car. Now we're just going to run the green wire through the firewall and hook it up to the battery.

Neither of us did well in high school physics, he dropped and I got a D.

The only thing I know about electricity is that it can kill you if you aren't smart with it!

Amps not volts kill.

not much more.

So we connected it to several grounding points that that connected to the neg terminal of the battery.

The video would work, but if we shut down everything and turned it back on the video would no longer work..... help?
