You gotta watch out for your Camshafts if you get aftermarket ones....some aftermarket camshafts dont work with oversized valves because they hit

depends on your set-up also. and, how much money do you plan on spending along with the actual valves/machine work?

I'm not a big time pro...but for most cases, I'd say that it's not worth it. Not for a street car.

JC call up Abacus Racing and pick Seth's brains. Oversized valves are DEFINATELY worth it imo, oversized vcalves of course will flow better plus some SS vales may be slightly lighter and with a good valve job will be worth your while, also a good bowl job on the head. I made much mofre torque with my ported and polished big valved head than my stoock head, though the compression also was higher on that one. I wish it was stock head cc to give a better comparison.

also how much does he want to spend?

www.comptechusa.com does it for about 1200-1400 a 16v head. Plus intinial shipment of the head and 80 to takepart the head and magnaflux it. Just to let you know this is the companey that makes comptech headers but they also build indy motors.
