Well im overheating yet again.. i cannot figure this out for the hell of it.

Usually i hover in the middle of the gauge.. ( 180) im gettin readings of upwards of 220.. which is to high for the cold weather are getting here in alexandria.

I have done everything.

91 240sx ka24de

koyo radiator
new t-stat
new waterpump
new hoses
new clamps
bled it all.

i've heard ka motors will over-heat if you have any air at all in the system. i see you said you've already bled it but thats the only thing i can think of. your fan is turning on right?

its clutched, and the clutch is fucked so its always on.

why would that be the problem, in that case the fan is always spinning when the motor runs which means constant cooling of the radiator, which would make it run cooler. a clutched fan simply has a spring that expands when heated and catches to start spinning. when the temp. is right the clutch stops the spinning.

this may seem obvious but what coolant are youy using and do you have the right mix? 100% antifreeze or 100% water can overheat.

Well jake......

When a Suburban came in my shop that I used to work at, The fan clutch was seized and would stop and stay on and we replaced it...and never had the problem again, so I was implying maybe its not always as stuck he may think, it could be releasing time to time....

i was just saying if his fan is always on it would "overcool" the motor rather than lead to overheating
