Is it possible to run open downpipe and not get boost creep....we were tuning my car yesterday and it would hold 6lbs of boost until about 6000 and creep all the way up to 10lbs at redline and would creep higher with each gear.....i have the deltageate wastegate and i heard they are horrible but im also reading that you are goig to have creep with open downpipe no matter what....is this true and if not what wastegate should i get and does anyone have one for sell....thanks

I ran open downpipe on my 38mm Deltagate, no problems. 9lbs all the time.

I guess I had a factory freak

how big is your turbo? it could be too big for your wastegate.

Is your wastegate line crump'd or collapse'd at all?

I'm currently using a Tial 38mm wastegate on a Turbonectics T3/To4-b trim. No issues at all, even though I never had a issue with my Deltagate.

38mm will be fine, also make sure you have a good size vacuum line running to the gate
