So, I did something to the 240sx....I was hauling ass, 25psi, almost to redline, in 4th and at around 7700rpms it made some studdering sound and a huge cloud of white smoke followed....well, it didn't die, it didn't lose power or anything. I came back to the house to find the dipstick had blown out. I pulled the intake off the turbo and it was coated with oil. Well...I cleaned all the oil up and started the car again, now it has a lumpy idle...So, I pulled the clip off the first injector, no change, 2nd injector, car wanted to die, same with the rest...So, I pulled the spark plug out of cylinder 1 to find the tip missing. It doesn't look like anything hit it, I think maybe it just melted off. Anyways, what does that sound like?

 

it sounds like you blew up

 

could have butned off a plug, happens in highpower cars.

do a comp and leakdown test

 

Sounds like you went really lean in the cylinder with a burned plug.

 

I hope the compression comes out good...

any oil in a cylinder is going to cause some detonation. and as hard as you where pushing that motor.. well it's just bad
dipstick shooting out could be blow by, and or bad pcv valve...

degreeing your plugs is a good idea at 25psi+ too
