Oil issues

Ok, so i got a call from a technician, not a service manager, but a technician saying they found oil in my TB and my Intake Manifold.

What problems could this be?

is it oil or real nasty carbon build up?

they looked at it and it was oil

lots of blow by past the piston rings creating alot of crank case pressure, thus resulting in excess amounts of oil passing through the PCV valve and entering into the intake manifold. or maybe just a bad head/intake manifold seal?
