Offering Car Alarm Help
Ok, i install car alarms and stereos as my job. I've noticed a lot of people on the boards have alarms in their car that they are having problems with or have a question about. If you have a Q, let me know I can help you troubleshoot it. You can PM me, email me, or AIM me.
I also install alarms and car electronics (VAFC, SAFC, Systems, Stereos, etc.)

if the alarm is not functioning at all but the lock/unlock is and the LED is always on, you are in valet mode.
if the parking lights are the only thing not functioning, it could be a setting issue that was probly changed when a couple buttons were touched on the remote fairly quickly. i would have to look at it to tell you the problem, but thats what first pop into mind

definately do that. it could just be you changed the settings on the brain by pushing buttons too fast. if you stumbled on the correct order it can happen
