im trying to use an obd2 p28 ecu in a z6 conversion in an ef, would this be wise, or should i go with a obd1 p28 ecu?

i wouldnt go obd0, if you have the choice i would prefer obd1. besides a p28 obd1 ecu is the ecu for a z6

C.J, Just convert the EF to obd-1. They sell ecu jumper harness'. Check out Rywire.com

thanks, thats what i want to do but somebody is selling me a obd2 ecu, and cant find an obd1 for my price range, people are charging too much

You can find p28's for like 100 all day long. OBD-1 is like the "best" obd for modding/tuning. People that have obd2 cars even convert to obd1!!!! Or you could just PM Fabrik8 and buy one of his chipped pm6 si ecus that are obd-0 and run one wire VTEC. I think its 125 for the ecu shipped. You get to customize it as well.
