Default Not sure how to title this..

Sometimes when my car gets boost in third gear the check engine comes on then it will not get full boost, but when I try it again it will! It only does it sometimes but I dont know where to even start. I have a S100 program if that helps

Are you on a stock map sensor?

You could have boost creep and if its on a stock map, once it see's 10psi, it'll set a check engine light.

HAHA. No. Boost creep is when you boost past your preferred setting.

Example:
Your boost controller is set to 12psi and you end up "boost creeping" to 20psi.

The boost is "creeping" up without you wanting it to. It can mean death to an engine if not addressed over time.

That's boost leak.

no that is not a boost leak or boost creep, boost leak is at the intercooler piping or "cold side" leak at downpip or manifold= exhaust leak

I suggest to stay out of boost until you have your tuner check your set up. If its boost creeping you risk it leaning out and detonating.
