Default NO POWER TO ECU!!!

OK guys i am in need of some help here! i just finished installing my motor and turbo kit. after i put it in and fired it i noticed a leak coming from my heater core so i pulled the dash off and fixed it, and put the dash back on... went to fire the car and bam, no power to the ecu????? i checked all the fuses and they are okay! is there a ground wire or something i missed???? Also the car has an alarm system could that cause the ecu to not get power???? the car is a 98 integra coverted to obd1 with s300

thanks in advance for the help!!!!!

Oh, here's what you do. Unplug the ECU, and do a continuity check between the ECU connector ground and chassis ground. If you get a resistance reading higher than almost nothing, it's a ground problem. Then check power between the ECU connector power and chassis ground. There are two power inputs, one is an ignition switched power and one is a constant power for volatile memory backup (just like your radio with the station presets).

Basically you need to find out what you have, and what you don't have, so you don't just go mindlessly taking the car apart trying to find possible causes when you don't know what you're looking for.
