newbie needs help on what motor
ok well guys i had to jump the gun and buy a turbo kit for my 94 civic cx and i dont even have a motor to swap it in. The kit fits any B series motor. im looking for the "bang for the buck" motor let me know please. And im not looking to spend a fortune.

what it really boils down to is how much you want to spend on the swap
ls-cheap, b16-decent, b18-$$$.

Also if its a T3T4 the B18B1 will handle 10psi on pump gas easily. After that I suggest some more eggresive tuning with higher octane.
If you plan to pun on 93 then I would start upgrading the pistons. The connecting arms are actually quite strong and will hold up as long as you have proper tuning.
The weakest link has been found to be the cast Honda pistons. They will develop stress fractures before rods will break.
