Never Leave Your Car Around Dumb People!!!
A while back I was chilling with some friends trying to figure out how to get my 91 Civic hatch, black housing headlights back to shine like they used to. So I go in the house, then come back outside to only have everyone starring at me. So I'm like "uh...whatsup?". Come to find out, some idiot took sand-paper (trying to supposively help) and used them on my headlights, now I can only really see thru one headlight cause the other one is scratched up, does anyone know of any products or anything to remedy this problem. PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!!
get finer sandpaper...all the way to 2000 grit wet and dry...then get some good buffing compound and a buffer and get busy polishing out the scratches...
LoL, ur friend had the right concept, just maybe the wrong idea? Like Ryan and Nftuatn said, WETSAND them starting at 1000 grit and step ur way up to 2000-2500 grit. Then of course a compound and a nice polish. 3M made a complete kit, not to sure if they still do?
at what point will i know its time to switch sand-papers, polish & buff, im a little new to the whole sanding thing, especially using different kinds sand-paper (1000 grit & so on)
