what model do you have? sohc or dohc?

Things i would suggest would be afx computer, long tube header, solid motor mounts, cams, upgraded springs

im not going to link to the neon vendors i dont know if im supposed to here but you can find them all at neons.org

basically do a lot of research at neons.org, the biggest reliability problem for pre 99 vehicles were the headgaskets that were supplied to not to manafacturer specifications.

Do a 2.4 swap. Its easy. Youll find a ton of info on it at neons.org

To the OP: Not trying to be an ass but you dont come off as very knowledgable with cars. Wait and get something else that's a little more novice friendly, and acquire some know how as you daily drive the neon.

why dont you find a wrecked intrepid and then pull that v6 out of it and swap it in yours that is a little more money and a little more hp.

You can supercharge a neon. I know theres a guy on neons.org who has it done. Im not sure of any actual kits made for it, but Im pretty sure it can be done fairly cheap.
