nope. crx si's werent vtec were they? that answers your question for that ecu....SlowEG8..if he doesnt have the obd0 to obd1 jumper, how can he use a 92-93 DA gsr ecu? They were obd1. I would get the obd0 to obd1 jumper harness. It makes for easy tuning. Just my .02. Good luck
OBD generation aside, a PR3 or PW0 would work for a VTEC head, yes. Both of those ECUs were for OBD0 B16s in Japan. There were also some OBD1 PR3 and PW0s also.
It's also possible to convert OBD0 PM6 ECUs to have a VTEC output; I used to do that as a side business but I don't do it anymore. There are people who still do that though. That's a really nice option because it's plug and play with only one wire to connect the VTEC solenoid, and no adapter harnesses or pinout changes necessary. Plus PM6 ECUs are a dime a dozen. If you go this route, you'll need either a PM6 with a spot for a chip inside, or someone that does a daughterboard conversion (my other trick). And yes, the ECU has to be chipped to use a modified program to engage VTEC.
