Need help w/ a del sol
I know, best advice would be to trade it, but please, I just need a little help. My girlfriend wants an intake for her 93 del sol Si. Looking at most of them, and her engine, it looks like only one hose hooks up to the intake. What gets done with the other hoses that are hooked up on the stock setup? Any help would be appreciated.

From recolection, the hose that is on the intake is for crankcase vent, the others should be pluged. If there is a fitting for cooling through the OE intake(which there usually is not, should go to manifold) that will need to be re-routed to the cooling system.

really need to see what we are dealing with here.
if you can get the car to me with the intake then i can hook it up for you. hell i'll even do it for free

I haven't even gotten the intake yet, but I will definitely look you up when I get it. Right now I was just looking it over, since she just bought the car this weekend. I figure it can't be too difficult, it just looked like there were a few more hoses going to the stock box, and only one to the pictures I've seen of various intakes.

its not that hard, im gonna agree with everyone else in here. go with the aem cold air intake if anything though. damn good intake for the price or if u can find the new one they came out with.
