Need Help With my GSX
the battery grounded out on the hood the other day... now i will put the key in and the running lights will come on... i can turn on the lights without the key in and those are also powering the radio.... im lookin for some help... any advice

1990 GSX, manual tranny.
The battery shifted while driving causing the positive terminal to ground itself on a low-point of the hood.
Due to this, the car was shut off and would not turn on unless push started.
The 30A ignition fuse blew once being push started. Car would not come back on at all. Replaced the fuse and it blew right away.
The lights and radio will come on without the key in the ignition.
Need advice for what to look for / repair.

You still have a short in the system, possible battery+ arcing to ground.
Also, your headlamp control switch is most likely shorted.
The fault can be proven and repaired with a multimeter if you have one.
