ok i got a 92 si with a t3/t4 and i'm runnin 2 1/4" piping, no resonator or cat. The problem is its god awful loud but i don't want to restrict the flow too much. Would it be better to put a hi flow cat on it or just a resonator?

Summitracing.com Look for dynomax race bullets, the thin ones.. just buy as man as long your car is.. and make the exhuast pipping out of these.. that should be no backpressure and tone it down enough...

when u put an apexi exhaust on ull notice that it has a resonator on it thats why it so quiet, a resonator baffles the sound like a silencer on a gun that whats make it so quiet, basically if u got no resonator it loud as shyt.
